THE 2019 GOLF COMEDY CLASSIC
WHAT: A 2-day event of golf, comedy and family fun – all for a great cause.

Proceeds from the event go towards funding foursomes of active duty Marines from the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Additional proceeds also go to support the White Heart Foundation, which offers support to wounded warriors and first responders through direct community support serving their needs physically and financially.
The Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa is home to the Pete Dye (Sr.) and Gary Player-designed championship golf courses. Troon Golf, the world leader in golf management, manages both courses.
GARY PLAYER COURSE
The longer of the two championship golf courses, the Gary Player course plays to 7,062 yards at a par 72. GOLF Magazine praises this course as being “difficult, well-designed and joyful and may be the best golf course in the Palm Springs area.”
PETE DYE COURSE
The Pete Dye course features hidden pin placements, carries over water, pot bunkers, elevated tees and railroad ties. It plays to 6,706 yards at a par 70 and is designed for all skill levels. The award winning championship course is just steps away from the resort and as such shares the same majestic mountain views.
THE COMEDY SHOW
Several hours after you’ve cracked your 7 iron in half, you’ll get your comedy fix at our annual comedy show. In past years, the GCC has hosted such gut-busting comedians as Kyle Kinane, Chris Porter, Brian Posehn, Jay Larson, Carlos Alazraqui, Nick Thune and Jimmy Shubert. The 2019 line-up will be announced soon!
